How do you get a younger demographics' attention about the perils of Teen Pregnancy and still convey all the information needed? Solution: a cartoon.
We produced a 30-second animated commercial with the "You Bet Your Future" game show. The idea being, show the risk taken in having unprotected sex. The commercial ended on a more somber note with straight talk: "Don't want to get pregnant? Don't have sex. Going to have sex? Use protection."
Walking the line between the abstinence and protection messages was a delicate balance to achieve, and one that we believe was handled well.
