Marvel Comics hired Thom Zahler to letter their Crimson Dynamo comic book. Along with the normal lettering, sound effects, and production work, the book also needed a logo.

A collaborative effort between the editors and us, the Crimson Dynamo logo managed to achieve the sleek metal and focus on "Dynamo" over "Crimson" that they requested. The original logo, as seen to the left, had the unique challenge of trying to be crimson-colored, without blennding in to the background of the already-created red backgrounded cover.

The logo was designed to be able to switch colors fairly easier. Future issues had far more crimson tinted logos as the covers were able to be colored with this logo in mind.
